Community & Charity

Charles Trent has always proudly sat at the heart of its community. 

We are passionate about our role in our local community and believe we have much to offer to help our community thrive and grow. 

Many of our people come from our local communities, as have their generations before them.  Our activity in our community is led by our people and focuses heavily on participation and activity as well as support and donations. 

Some of the local initiatives we have supported recently include: 

• Donating cars to local colleges for students to work on 
• Beach clean activities 
• Litter picking activities 

We work with many local schools and colleges to help students gain work experience. 

We were the first auto-recycler in the UK to create a practical apprenticeship standard for our industry in conjunction with a local college. 

Our people select local charities to support each year, currently we are supporting: 

• Shine Cancer Support      
• Pawprints Dog Rescue     

And in the past, we have proudly and humbly supported:
