• Second, by introducing new skills.  We have always provided opportunities for existing employees to enhance and advance their learning and skills, but we are also quick to recognise and introduce valuable new skills.  An outstanding example of this is the new technology we have introduced to power our business operations.

• Have customer-centric processes which have been developed from feedback received by customers, for customers. 
• Operate a state-of-the-art facility, the first of its kind in the UK, which cost more than £10m to develop. 
• Run a transport fleet of the latest vehicles under full repair & maintenance contracts, providing optimum reliability. 
• Utilise cutting-edge technology and IT systems, most of which we have developed ourselves and are now the market standard. 
• Work extensively with data and AI to ensure our decision making is as good as it can be.

Our Learning & Development Programme is multi-faceted and provides opportunity for personal and professional growth via a range of activities, including on-the-job training from skilled experts, leadership and management development, and technical skills training.  We support CPC (Continuous Professional Competence) and offer practical workshops, online courses, and certifications to support training goals. 

Throughout our business, we operate lean processes based around the Toyota principles of: 

• Kaizen (change for better) 
• Muda (eliminate waste/inefficiency) 
• Heijunka (balancing workload to the resource) 
• Jidoka (get quality right first time) 

We provide relevant training so that we set ourselves up for success and many of our people have commented that these principles have helped in the personal life as well as their professional life.
