In 2026, Charles Trent will reach an incredible milestone: 100 years in business.
As a family-run company, we are immensely proud of this. Reaching this point is not just about longevity, but about the people, communities and customers who have supported us along the way. To mark this centenary year, we wanted to celebrate in a way that truly reflects who we are, by giving back.
Our Main Charity Partner for 2026: Forest Holme Hospice
Each year, we nominate one or two charities to support through fundraising activities and company-wide initiatives. For our centenary year, this tradition continues, but with a cause that holds a particularly special place in our hearts.
In 2026, Charles Trent Limited will be supporting Forest Holme Hospice.
Forest Holme personally supported the Trent family last year, and their care, compassion, and kindness made a lasting impact. The work they do to support people at the end of life, and to care for families during incredibly difficult times, is truly exceptional.
Throughout 2026, we will be holding a range of charity events and initiatives to raise funds for Forest Holme and help support the vital work they do in our local community.
£1,000 Each Month to Local Causes
Alongside our main charity partnership, we will also donate £1,000 each month to a different local charity, community group, or initiative as part of our centenary celebrations.
That means:
- £12,000 donated
- 12 causes supported
- One for each month of our 100th year
These monthly donations will focus on organisations, projects and local support that make a positive difference to people and communities around us.
Looking Ahead to Our Centenary Year
As we prepare for our 100th year, this is our way of giving something back to the communities that have supported us for generations, while as a business we continue to grow, innovate and build for the future.
We look forward to sharing the stories of the charities and initiatives we will be supporting throughout 2026, and we welcome suggestions from our customers, partners and wider community for causes that could benefit from our centenary donations.
Together, we’ve built 100 years. In 2026, we’ll be giving back.
